Chanel Holiday 2007 Makeup Collection

Hot on the heels of its swanky new advertising campaign featuring actress Keira Knightley, Chanel introduces its Holiday 2007 Makeup Collection. Chanel has always worked winter magic with its holiday collections and the 2007 release is no exception. Frosty silvers, dazzling golds, and pearly pinks are woven into eyeshadow, lipsticks, and blushes. As one expects from Chanel, the sparkle is subtle and elegant, glowing from the inside out.

Featured items from the collection include the limited-edition Radiant Gems Quadra Eye Shadow compact. The compact offers coordinating colors for a festive holiday eye. Radiant Gems contains silver, white, plum and chocolate shadows that can be applied wet or dry and as single tones or in combinations.

The most in-demand item and the one Style Snatcher snatched off the Saks counter the day it was released is the 4 Camélias de Chanel Lèvres-Lip. This sleek little compact contains four glossy lip shades embossed in the traditional camelia pattern--we confess that we are hesitant to debase the design, a typical Chanel quandary.

Your cheeks will glow as if you've just returned from skiing in Verbier with a swipe or two of the Neroli Rose blush. As with all Chanel blushes, the shimmer is milled into the product, which means no big flakes of glitter to fall on your prettily blushing cheeks.

Other items include the delicate Délice nail polish (sheer, frosted beige) and two new Glossimers in Pink Crystal and Bronze Crystal. And don't forget the revolutionary Lightsource Poudre Universelle Libre Loose Powder in Merveille, a wonder product that lights up the complexion with its limited-edition translucent gold hue.

The 2007 collection is available at Saks. These items will be sold out by Christmas, so the smart Style Snatcher will get her fingers clicking on the link.
